The first time I ever heard "Okie from Muskogee" I was shopping for a used car in a little town on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.<br />

The little Phillipino salesman told me that that was his favorite song, and when I told him Muskogee was my home town, he knocked $200 dollars off the price of the old junker I bought from him.<br />
