Class of 1967 45^th Reunion 2012

 

Dear Classmates,

    I am writing you to ask for your help in shedding light on a perplexing situation I find myself contemplating.  I have selected you as the group to aid me because you have known me for years and I value your opinion.  Your experiences are varied and that is important to the problem with which I am faced.

 

Over the years, we have all observed the seemingly random factors that affect all of our lives, sometimes without apparent rhyme or reason.  We have seen some marriages dissolve over nothing and others grow stronger under adverse conditions.  We have seen fate play a role in who survives critical illness and who succumbs to them.  We have seen good people suffer great misfortunes while some people of low character thrive.

 

We all experienced the trauma of being jerked from our home at old Central and divided into 4 pods, our known world taken from us.  The enormity of this seemingly unfair act of good or bad fortune is at the core of my dilemma.

 

I have traveled to institutions of higher learning and studied history searching for an answer, with no success, so I pose the question to you.

 

I cannot fathom the whys and wherefores in this universe that could take Anna Nicole from us and leave Sarah Palin behind.

 

If you will attend the Muskogee Central High School Class of 1967 we will ponder this and many other important questions.
