How to Date Thai "Sideline" University Girls

What is a sideline girl ? In Thailand, the phrase "Dek Sideline" pronounced "Deg Sy-lie" - aka - "Sideline Girl" is mainly used by Thai guys who refer to a girl who earns some money on the side. A few years ago, Chiang Mai's Sideline Industry was florishing. Models would fly over from Bangkok and do a whole series of guys, booked in advance by an agent. The market was too competitive in Bangkok so Chiang Mai was a weekend out for them. Back then, the prices weren't that high, a thousand or a thousand five hundred could land you with a super hot girl.



Times have changed and some of the sideline industry has moved to the erotic spa businesses: for a lot of girls, it's easier money, just wait for the customer to show up, offer more services and perhaps make your own deal with a customer they like outside of office hours. Getting all you want through the erotic spa gives you a significant higher bill, though: typically THB 1,500 for the body-to-body massage and then the extra for the girl to give it all. (Of course, a next time outside of the shop, the girl will be offering more reasonable rates, which is why a lot of guys use erotic spas as sourcing pools for their sideline girls). Some agents don't send pictures, because the girls are too shy, in that case you just have to take the risk and ask for room service of two girls at the same time and choose the prettiest one. This agent wants only serious guys who are able to support a pretty girl, no stingy guys, so in order to see the pictures she charges THB 500 upfront but she guarantees that she will keep providing new girls if you're not satisfied. The girls you select will then go to meet you in person to see if there is enough mutual chemistry and for this she charges THB 600-1.000 again as fees for travelling and time for the girls.

This is to shift the serious guys from the see-no-buy guys, so if you really want to enter the world of sideline girls you better have a good budget for it, else just stick to the other options available in Chiang Mai or find a girlfriend.
