Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( mr.jamespollard01@gmail.com ) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes, Melody.

I hope you and your loved ones are doing fine. Oh, and by the way, stay off those cruise ships! I've got some scary news for you! Don't get on another one until you talk to me!

I have lots of stories to tell (like the one about the origin of my garden beds). But I'm a little reluctant to put my own personal information, and cause my friend's personal information to be put on the internet, for all to see. Identity thieves love places like this.

We need much more security in order to talk freely with each other. At least, I do.

Melody,
I'm alive and well, doing my surgery thing in Fresno, CA--have a wonderful wife who is a nurse and directory of surgery. We have 4 kids between us, 2 grandchildren. Sharon lives in Tulsa, and works for a group of attorneys --2 kids and 2 grandchildren. Mom and dad live in Norman. We go camping, whitewater rafting and snowmobiling in the Sierras. We try to get to the Caribbean as often as,possible, and hope to retire there. Hope you are doing well. I still remember Sharon and you running in your nighties during a sleep over. What a great neighbor you were! Hope Lowell is doing well. Dane

Hi, Melody. You asked if I stayed up late at night. I had to laugh a little after looking at the clock. Which says 3:41am.

Yes, I do stay up late. I don't have problems going to sleep. I do have problems *staying* asleep. It used to be every time I would enter REM sleep, I would relive a certain night in Vietnam, which would interrupt my sleep and wake me up. I was seriously sleep deprived, for a long time.

It's much less of a problem now than it used to be, but I still have to deal with it. I usually go to bed when I'm too tired to stay up any longer, and that time seems to be getting later and later, lately. :)

BTW, I'm writing this using two webpages tiled horizontally on my screen so I can read your message, which is on one page, and then make my comments, which must be done on another page. Perhaps there's an easier way, but I haven't found it yet.

I never had any problems sleeping when I was a kid. I could have slept 24 hours a day, except my father thought there were better things for me to be doing than sleeping so he would wake me up whether there was anything to do or not. He just didn't like me sleeping when the sun was up.

You must get your rest, Melody. Sleep deprivation can really mess up the quality of your life. I think everyone has their own sleep requirements. I wouldn't worry about getting any particular number of hours of sleep. Just make sure you get enough sleep to get rested. And you do need to sleep sound (REM sleep) to be well rested.

I'm glad you enjoy reading what I write. I do think about trying to get out a little more. But sometimes it is easier to leave things the way they are, than to venture into the unknown.

I haven't ruled out making it to one of the get-togethers. I won't guarantee I'll attend, but I will guarantee you I will think about it. I've been doing a lot of thinking already. Maybe, too much.

It sounds like you really enjoy your place down there in Austin. You have *beds* in your garden? Me, too! I'll tell you about my garden beds sometime.

I don't like triple digit weather either, but for some reason I always wait until the hottest part of the day to go outside and work around the place. Maybe its because I sleep late, so 2pm is my 8am.

I think cooler weather is just around the corner.

If you can be a happy person regardless of where you are, then it truly is a blessing. I'm glad to hear you say it applies to you. That's good. Worth it's weight in gold.

I'm kind of that way too: The Glass is half-full. My mother used to tell me about "the man who would lament that he had no shoes, until he met a man who had no feet", and I got it, and agreed with it, and adopted my mother's philosophy as my own.

One may have it tough in life, but you don't have to look far to find someone who has it tougher. Things could be worse. They could be a *lot* worse. Count your blessings. Thank you, Mother.

I better go to bed now. I apologize for taking so long to reply. I've been conflicted.

Hi Melody, Yes I did get your note...Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you....I have 7 web sites that I maintain and at times I forget what I have done where and what I need to do next. I am glad you enjoy Roughers 67 site. I have had sooooooo much fun with it but the best is hooking up with all of the people were there when much of this crazy trip got going... It would be nice to do it all over again but I would not change much....It is great hearing from you
Peace

So, where was I???

I have one daughter and one grandaughter. Whitney is going to be 34 in Sept. and Mallory is 5. They live in Broken Arrow.

I also enjoy the outdoors. I like to garden, and just be outside in general. I think that's what attracted me to real estate after I retired from State Farm.

We live around the corner from a marina, and so it is handy to take the boat out and fish, or just drive around on Tenkiller. We have been out there for 13 years, and love it.

I know you will enjoy the Alaska cruise. Susie and her husband went a year or two ago, and it is one of their favorites. You might e-mail her about some of the particular excursions you should go on.

I hope you will be able to attend our next reunion, or get together. I would love to see you! We have been having a few luncheon get together, and those have been very successful.

You are always welcome to stop in and visit us at the lake. We have a cabin off our deck that sleeps 2, and we are usually always there, or not far from home. My cell # is 918-453-8391, and you can e-mail me direct at morty.pinson@gmail.com

So good to hear from you. I just happened to be in my office today and checked my e-mail. I am selling real estate and waiting on customers to show up. I have been retired from claims adjusting for 5 years. I started selling real estate before I retired. I thought I would do it part time......but that is not how it works if you intend to really help people!

Speaking of Texas, ERA is having a rally in Rockwall next week. I am going with 2 other ladies, shopping on the way down in Plano on Wednesday, and then the rally is Thursday. Other than that, It has been over 3 years since I shopped there with my daughter.

My customer is here, so I will continue catching up with you later!

I'm just learning my way around how this webpage software works so there is a chance I might miss a message meant for my reply. So if you don't get a reply from me, give it another shot and maybe I'll have things figured out by then.

BTW, I lived in Austin, or actually just a little north and west of Austin on the Trinity River back in 1974. I really like the place a lot. Had the biggest steak in Texas there on occasion and saw Willy Nelson a time or two.

In response to your comment to Tom about his crush on you in 7th grade - I thought at least half the boys at AR had a crush on you at some time or other!

Wow! How great to hear from you!! We've lived in OKC area most of our married lives (37 yrs)...we moved to eastern Ok for about 6 yrs in the 80's but Ron hated it so looks like this is home. How many kids? grandkids? We have 2 children, girl age 36 & boy age 32.....and 4 grandkids 1girl 8yrs and 3 boys ages 5,2,&1 (way more fun than my own kids). Can't believe we are this old...I prefer to think of it as fifty-ten....My brain (and behavior) does not reflect what I always thought a person this age would be like...weird. You should try to make it to the next reunion..would love to see you. Love, MaryLou

I was at working for WT Grant in Canton Ohio, just got in from a date (which was a drag and ended prematurely).... turned on the tube and Neil was just getting out of the lem...Next day I bought a extra addition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer with the headline Man on Moon with a picture of Neil Armstrong stepping off...my date that night turned out to be my first wife and she got the newspaper in the divorce settlement...Man on Earth....
