Jefferson Highway Centennial Event Needs Volunteers
The Jefferson Highway International Conference and Centennial Celebration will take place in Muskogee April 30-May 2, 2015 and visitors are expected to attend from at least 10 states and Canada. The Jefferson Highway was the first International north-south highway in the United States, stretching from Winnepeg Canada to New Orleans, LA and passing right through the center of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Three days of activities and events will keep many volunteers busy. If you or your organization would like to help with this exciting event please attend our Volunteer Sign-Up Tuesday March 31st at Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin, Muskogee. Drop by anytime between 6 and 9 p.m. to learn more about volunteer opportunities and the Jefferson Highway International Conference and Centennial Celebration.
